VoIP in Public Administration |
In the text of the budget law for 2008 there is an article, proposed by
the government, that obliges the government to implement measures to the
containment of expenditure related to services of voice.
Subparagraph 4 of Article 76 of financial 2008 reads: "The central
government shall be required, with effect from 1 January 2008 and from
the expiration of contracts for voice services under way at the time
said, to use the services "Voice via Internet Protocol" (VoIP) under
the public system connectivity or similar agreements at local level.
This news opens the important scenarios related to the use and
dissemination of VoIP technology in public offices is to reduce costs,
both for the benefits in terms of services and optimization of
infrastructure.
